Clamp these systems to bridges with deep plate girders, wide-flange rolled beams or prestressed or tee beams. Here is how these systems work.
- Start at the top.
Clamp to beam. Clamps available for various bridge designs. Rolling clamps are optional.
- Add hanger assembly.
Components include your choice of vertical stems 6, 8, 10 and 12 feet long.
- Add working platform deck and safety rails.
You can either encircle the pier column with two-point suspension using aluminum stages or plywood working decks or you can straddle pier caps at two points to provide your crew access on both sides and ends of the pier. Install safety rails and toeboards to protect workers and prevent tools and equipment from falling down below.
- Install ladder clamp so crew can attach ladder and access all scaffold decks. Entire assembly requires no special tools; your crew is on the job in minutes, not hours.
