With the Swing-Lo Waler Scaffold your crew can work on a wider deck. This makes it much easier and safer to perform forming and stripping operations.
Waler Scaffold for Fascia/Parapet Applications Suspend a wider working deck so your crew can perform forming and stripping operations more quickly.
One of the safest, most cost-efficient ways to get forming and stripping operations done is to put your crew on a wider work surface. Swing-Lo Waler Scaffold gives you that expandability.
But there are also times when you just need a catwalk to move your crew along the bridge fascia. The Swing-Lo Waler Fascia Beam Bracket makes it easy to assemble one. Find out how below.

A simple solution
Here is how the Swing-Lo Waler Scaffold works:
- Start at the top. Clamp waler beam clamps in pairs to both the fascia beam flange and the second beam flange. Evenly space the clamps and attach to 2 x 6-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch or 12-inch wood beams.
- Add channel trusses. Aluminum channel trusses (two 2 x 6-inch spaced back-to-back) or two steel channel trusses are similarly attached to create a cantilevered working deck.
- Build a large deck. Evenly space planks for base support and cover with plywood decking.
- Add safety guardrails. Help keep your crew (and people and things below the bridge) safe. Simply fit, then nail Swing-Lo Guardrail Post Brackets to the end of the wood trusses, insert rails and lock the pin in place. Properly installed, this system meets OSHA standards.
